Discussion Questions1. Lachlan shared that before Christ, he tried to fill the void in his life with parties, drugs, money, and relationships. What are some common “quick fixes” people turn to today instead of God?
Read: John 4:13-14  “Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
2. Lachlan described a turning point when he realised he had to stop blaming others and take responsibility for his life. How does taking ownership of our own sin open the door for God’s grace?Read: James 1:14–15  “but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”
 
3. Lachlan said he became “miserably happy”, he cleaned up his life but still felt empty until he encountered Jesus. 5. When Lachlan first became a Christian, he zealously gave out Bibles and told everyone about Jesus. Have you ever been overzealous in sharing your faith? Discussion Questions1. How does remembering that Jesus Himself was Jewish shape the way we share the Gospel with Jewish people and with anyone?

2. Rabbi Lawrence shared how his brother used Isaiah 53 without revealing the passage, and he immediately recognised Jesus in it. What role should the Old Testament/Tanakh play in our evangelism conversations?
