Tina Waldrom speaks with Pam Maclean about her challenging Christian life and the ability to still share her faith. Pam has suffered depression, anxiety and many physical challenges whilst following Jesus. Understanding the tough times from God’s perspective has given her great hope to continue to share her faith.
In this episode Pam shares about the challenges she’s faced and how God has helped her to understand her suffering as a follower of Christ. She has moved from a position of shame, often wondering, ‘why me and what have I done wrong’, to a position of power. Today, as a Christian counsellor, she can share her faith with grace and understanding, knowing that God loves her. Her circumstances do not change what the word of God says about her.

Tina Waldrom speaks with Melinda Dwight regards the new era of evangelism, digital evangelism. Melinda is the national Director of Alpha Australia and is a well-respected Christian leader in the nation of Australia. She unpacks the shift to digital and why and how to be involved.
When COVID hit in Australia, Melinda had the opportunity to pivot to digital evangelism or miss an opportunity to share the gospel with thousands of people looking and searching for answers. Tina Waldrom speaks with the National Director of Missions Interlink, Nataliya Osipova. Right before COVID-19 hit in Australia, Nataliya felt the Lord speak to her about ‘new things’. She had no idea that a pandemic was about to hit. She did however have an idea that new shifts were on the horizon for global church missions. These shifts are valuable lessons for all Christian believers in sharing the gospel.

Tina Waldrom speaks with Rachel Dunwell. This is the follow up episode to episode one. Rachel works for Destiny Rescue who rescue girls from the horrible world of human trafficking. Evangelism in Australia are raising money in a very creative way to fund an entire RAID. Rachel talks openly about what a RAID entails and the Christian perspective on trafficking.
The intention of this podcast episode is to give people a behind the scenes understanding of what a RAID is and the processes involved for Destiny Rescue to carry out a raid. Rescuing girls from trafficking is a well-planned operation so that young girls can have a chance of freedom, rehabilitation and the hope of a better future.

The event will be open to those who give either $50 or $100 to Destiny Rescue. It takes $10,000 to fund a RAID in an undisclosed project nation with DR. Many girls are rescued at once, they are cared for and given the education they need to step into a new life of freedom. The brothel is closed down and people are prosecuted for the wrong doings toward these innocent girls.
$10,000 is achievable. It is simply 100 people giving $100 or 200 people giving $50 or a mix of both.

You will then receive an email from Evangelism In Australia with a link to the ‘Christmas Styling Online Events’. Choose the time slot that best works for you. They will love this online event and you would have helped fund the RAID.

Tina Waldrom speaks with Rachel Dunwell. This is the episode that we NEVER saw coming. Rachel works for Destiny Rescue who rescue girls from the horrible world of human trafficking. Tina had no idea where this episode would lead, it’s a remarkable story to listen to.
The original intention of this podcast was to shine a light on the wonderful work that Destiny Rescue are doing in saving young girls from the tragic and inhumane world they are caught in. Tina Waldrom speaks with the chaplain of the Melbourne Rebels Rugby Club. David ‘Latty’ Latianara has been the chaplain for just over 2 years and is bringing the message of hope to the world of professional rugby players. He shares some great insights on what it takes to share the gospel in a professional sports world.
Latty, born in Australia but Fijian descent fits in so very well in a sport that is highly represented by Polynesian athletes. The Rebels and the Australian Wallabies have significant representation of world class athletes from this region of the world. Interestingly, faith, family and leadership are often at the heart of the community.
Latty had many years of ministry and outreach experience before stepping into the position of club chaplain with the Rebels. He is a big-hearted man with a love for people that is spilling over into the lives of players, families and coaches. He is very passionate about the ‘boys’ he serves and is able to have a good laugh at the funny moments that take place on the field.

Melissa Lee has been a nurse for around 25 years. She is a passionate follower of Christ who has been both challenged and blessed during COVID-19. Melissa has had to overcome her own concerns and fears surrounding her workplace during the pandemic. Having moved beyond fear, she is seeing many opportunities to share her faith with hospital staff and patients alike.
The Lord has taught Melissa a great deal through this crisis. Her story is one of inspiration, a story that we can all learn from. Tina Waldrom speaks with mother of nine, Helen Devenish. Helen is a street evangelist from Hobart, Tasmania. After praying a prayer, “Lord, I’m here, I’ll doing anything for you”, Helen was more than surprised to find herself working with young people in Hobart.
Love Hobart is the name of the outreach ministry that Helen heads. This lady is no ordinary lady. With a deep love for Jesus, her and her husband have raised nine wonderful kids and are raising many more on the streets of Hobart. Helen is highly respected by the local police; her work is an invaluable contribution to the Hobart community.
Street evangelism is not for the faint hearted yet Helen makes it look effortless. This super mum and minister has a heart of gold for the youth of Hobart. Listening to Helen reminds us again that everyone is called to reach out with the gospel, there are no exceptions.

Tina Waldrom speaks with Roby Coyle, one of Australia’s great evangelists. Rob is the founder of Youth Dimension and is still preaching and coaching leaders today. With 50 years of ministry experience, his wisdom and insights are invaluable for the church.
Rob’s call to the ministry of evangelism was unique. He had an encounter with God at a young age, as a school boy. The commitment that he made to read the Bible as a young man contributed significantly to the call to evangelism. He talks candidly about this.
